Examples of projects I completed as part of my university course

Time Defense

Time Defence is a 3rd Person tower defence game created in the Unreal Engine. It took 5-6 months to develop with a team of 5. The game was entered into the Game Republic competition in Leeds where it received wide spread praise for its game play and artwork. It also won the Creative Spark award for best UDK game, beating off tough completion to clinch the top spot. My role in the development of the game was producer and artist.

11 Second Club Animation

Here is an example of an 11 second club clip. The animation, matched to the music, takes inspiration from the swimming pool scene in Little Britain. The Modelling and Animation leveraged 3DS Max and the rending used Vray. The animation took 2 weeks to complete

Virtual Reality : Industrial Health & Safety

For my dissertation at University I chose to investigate the use of Virtual Reality for the purposes of health and safety. After thorough research of the subject area I designed and created a custom solution using 3DS Max and Click-VR. The solution, modelled on the interior of a factory, allows users to interact with hazards from the safety of a PC. Further more, additional information can be viewed on each hazard type along with tips on how to avoid them. This helped build my understanding of real time lighting effects along with efficient modelling and texturing techniques.
